Why don't you leave R&S?

I like it here (sometimes).

You come here, Squirrel comes here, IWF comes here... and sometimes it seems that I may actually get through to one or two indoctrinated god-bots.

I do sometimes take short sabbaticals, though. I go hang out in the "Yahoo Products" category answering questions about "how do I close my account?" and "how do I switch to Beta Mail?" and "can I change my password?"

People aren't petty and bitter over there.

I have. I've been TC in a few other categories over the months, but I always find the questions in R&S the most entertaining. Like Footprints said, many of us are just here to kill time while we're at work, and this is the best category to do so.

I think many of us naively found our way here hoping for interesting discussions. Now, I mostly just hang back and laugh at the good ones, groan at the dee-dee-dee's, and otherwise hope that sometime in the future, this forum may see an influx of articulate people who are tolerant of others.

Until then, let the laughs continue.

Sometimes I really wonder why I don't leave...but I really enjoy all the people here..and there are acouple here I am very fond of...but there are also acouple here that make it bad for everyone...I hate the fighting and all
those nasty questions...but I was one of those here first...I have been here since
Jan 06...this is my home, I'm gonna stay.

I skip around. Some of the relationship spots are good for a laugh or serious advice, but this is where the cut-throat action is.

Plus, people in here have the coolest Avatars.

I've learned a lot here about other people's beliefs (and sometimes, even a few things about my own). But if I ever decide that it's getting to be a drag and I don't like coming here anymore, I'll be gone in a flash.

I enjoy making contact with people who are different and who see the world in a different way to myself. I rarely agree with them but that is a huge part of the fun. I also like to answer serious questions when my input might possibly help someone.
