Well im 17 and i just got called for my first job interview from CVS pharmacy in a couple of days. This is going to be my first job let alone my first interview, so i just want to know what would be some good questions to ask them???? or some good catch phrases that will make them remember me in the picking process. I just want to know what would be the best way to get into the employers head and just give me the advantage over other people who are being interviewed. Please anything will help. Thanks!!

If during the interview, you have a question, then ask it. Sometimes you need to ask one so you can answer an interviewer's question more appropriately. Remember, an interview is a two-way conversation.

At the end of the interview you may be asked, "Do you have any questions?" Never say, none. You may sound disinterested to the interviewer. Show your interest and concern in the job by asking relevant questions.

Here are some questions you might want to ask:
· What is the most important part of this job?
· Is there a problem that needs immediate attention?
· Is this a new position or am I replacing someone?
· Could you describe my responsibilities?
· Who will I be reporting to?
· Is there any in-house training that is available?
· What skills do you think are important for this position?
· Are performance reviews given, and how often?
· How long do you estimate it takes for an individual to become proficient in this position?
· Do you promote from within when a position becomes available?
· What characteristics do your best employees have in common?

Here are some questions you should never ask:
· What type of medical benefits are available?
· How much vacation and sick leave will I be entitled to?
· How soon can I expect a raise?

Questions pertaining to salary or benefits are never discussed at an interview unless the interviewer introduces them. You may ask these questions after the job is offered to you, and before you accept.

Peace and every blessing!

Go online and learn about the company and see what their website offers so that you know just a bit more than the next one. You will want to know more about the details of your job-what you will be doing, hours, pay, benefits. To be remembered, use your best manners, stand straight, head high, shoulders back, sit straight, women cross your ankles only, dress appropriate for the job, shine your shoes, be very sparkly clean and shiney, know the information on your application so that you can refer to it if necessary. If you have any other training or knowledge that will help you in the position, do tell them. Look the interviewer appropriately in the eye, smile and be friendly. Answer questions clearly and concisely. Don't go off on a tangent and stick to the questions. Anything you want to know, this is the time to ask. His perception of you will not only get you the job, you will be able to barter for more pay, more benefits or whatever you think you can pull off. If the people are not friendly or rude, look around you may not want the job. Everything I was taught was how important it was to get the first job without teaching me what an asset I would be for them. I took the first thing that came my way and it was a terrible place to work. You will have to work there for a year or two minimum before you move on so be sure you want to work there. If you decide you may not want to work there, do not burn any bridges because you never know when that person will show up in your life again. Just remember while you want the job, they want a good employee. Good luck! The first answer is excellent. Except you will be asked what you expect to be paid and you will need an answer and in the beginning I said an appropriate amount for the job.
