Personally, I ignore most things about religion, because it is itself the one thing in the world that no one will ever agree on.
Those who choose to believe whole-heartedly in religion matter little to me, since I tend to stick to the facts about things instead of trusting a book written over the span of hundreds of years quoting feats that have more basis in the writer's imagination than reality.
It doesn't serve any purpose getting annoyed with questions such as your example, when it does not have any impact on my life and my happiness.

Well yes, but to be fair there are a lot of annoying people that are doing the same thing against the Christians also.
It seems to go both ways.
As an atheist, it is not my job to try to convince Christians they are wrong. I don't care what they believe, as long as they don't try to push their beliefs on me.
Christians on the other hand are taught to spread the word, so I expect it from them.
The loud mouths make atheists look insane, while most of us couldn't care less.

I hate it-- I never post questions like "Why do you believe in God, He's fake" because I know just how it feels. They need to realize that we don't believe and pushing views on us isn't going to work. They just have to live knowing that we exist and always will.
And, I know it's not all Christians, but some.

Yeah, and you know what else I hate? When people use the word "atheist" as a plural in their questions. If you're asking the question to more than one atheist, then it's spelled atheists.
