So, I guess Constantine's family is still raking in the dough. Who are these people and where do they live. I go to Church and I know there is nothing like the "Constantine cut" in the offering. The money goes for Church expenses, seminary aid, aid to the poor, outreach, humanitarian aid, etc. What of the other religions such as Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist? Their views all differ from each other and from Christianity. Where does their money go? A Christian is NOT FORCED to give. The offering is between him/her and the Lord. Most congregations don't know how much or how little each member gives. It's not like they tell them "Hey, you didn't give very much last year so anti up or else..." Nope. Your idea is a bad idea. Try again.

This isnt really a question. There are many ways to pick a part every religion. Youre not going to touch people via a computer. If Christians can look past scientific evidence and still believe in the bible what makes you think that they are going to care about some stranger on the internet quoting a former Christian.. they'd probably think it was the devil speaking through this former Christian.

Christianity was before Constantine.
Constantine remained a pagan putting Christian names and doctrine on Paganism, that is where Catholicism came from.
There is no such thing in the Bible and Christianity as Popes, and neither Constantine nor his family wrote parts of the accepted Bible. The unaccepted Maccabees contradict and are therefore not a part of t he real Bibles.
Compare what the Bible says to what religions calling themselves Christianity say.

I believe that the invention theory overstates the case. Christianity had had its adherents before Constantine. And this story, even if totally true, does not automatically invalidate Christianity: even a fool can on occasion speak words of wisdom. It is necessary, therefore, to examine the merits of the faith itself. Personally, I find these to be totally lacking; see:

So what you're saying is that Constantine invented Xianity for his own ends.
I thought that was common knowledge.
BUT you have a major problem; Xianity was NOT LogicReasoned into people so it's gonna be hard to LogicReason it outa people.
The best we can hope for is that people read that Goat Herders' Guide to the Galaxy and see it for the badly written fiction it is and to realise an InvisibleSkyGuy as described in it, is no more than an errant child whispering in the ear saying: I love you but if you don't suck up to me I'm gonna throw you into the bowels of the earth for eternity.
My kinda guy. LOL

The christian religion promised somebody money and control? No. It's a good start though but look at both sides bfore making a decision. Maybe you've read a book. Go ahead and read another.

Why did this man leave Christianity? Either he got mad at someone, or he got his feelings hurt. It appears that he took his anger out by lashing out at all of Christianity. Apparently, the man knew nothing of history either. No one in Constantine's family wrote part of the New Testament.

Your screename say's it all, Get a clue. Your question is so presumptious that you feel your the one who has figured out religon and the rest of us who believe have not a clue. Your lost in sin and now wish others to join you, really. I can't ever imagine your thought process, Your refering to the New testament as if the old testament didn't exist. Have you not even read the book of Genisis, Adam, Eve, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Moses to mention a few. Your facts are not even based on real logic they lacy the fundamental basis for any arguement truth. Your in a forum for spirituality, if your so happy with your conversion from Christianity why the heck are you even concerned with what other Christians do or believe. Here's the truth in my observation, God is real, Christianity is real, The Holy Ghost is real even if the members of his following arent. Someone must have hurt you real bad and I'm sure you have real pain but buddy c'mon think of why you left in the first place. Testimony of something born inside of you by the power of the Holy Ghost is not something man or even men can create in the spirit. Look inside deep in the depts of your soul and seek what it is you lost. Whoever hurt you is someone who lacked faith, base your arguement by not doing the same to other Christians through attacking them of their faith. If you don't believe then you don't believe and as result your life will reflect good fruti from your labor based on your life. In other words becontent and happy with your decision, why are you holding the anger in to keep yourself in the torment that religon is false, move on.

So one person's opinion proves your statement? How could you possibly take the opinion of one person and use that as the foundation for your entire argument? I have opinions about many things, but I can't recall ever using my opinion as the sole basis for the presentation of anything as a fact. That is your definition of "enlightened?"

Constantine converted to, he didn't make up, Christianity. He didn't do everything correctly, by any means. And he was, first and foremost, emporer - a politician.
