I'm on a 1600 calorie diet for diabetics.

I have Frosted Shredded Wheat with 1/2 sliced banana and 1/2 of orange juice. (frozen kind is best for my taste and doesn't have sugar added.

It regulates me and I really don't get tired of having it everyday.

If I want a change, I have 1 slice of wheat toast spread with peanut butter with 1/2 banana. Slice the banana length wise. Lay it on toast and cover with 1/2 cup of applesauce.

Both are very satisfying and regulate you which is an important part of dieting.

Once in a while for a change I have a slice of wheat toast with 1 egg scrambled with crumbled feta cheese. Cheese is salt, so you don't need to use salt'

I think it's important to eliminate salt intake slowly. It takes time, but if you do you will find that things with too much salt, really doesn't taste that good.

It also helps to lower blood pressure and you don't retain water.

Use a small bowl for your cereal and bananas, that way you eat less.

I probably told you more than you wanted to know but this has helped me more than I can say and I'm satisfied and loosing weight.

For 20 years I didn't eat breakfast and was hungry by 10:AM. and always hungry.

Thanks for the good question.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

I would recommend weetabix and special k. Most cereals are ok as long as they are not the type covered in sugar.
