Samsung... They have awesome picture quality, but you will not get amazing quality sound out of any tv speaker. Just spend the extra money and purchase surround sound.

Pioneer makes one of the best lcd hdtv's but prepare to spend the cash

Pioneer. It's the best but it's very expensive. For a 42" it was 3000 dollars. But the quality is amazing.

Look for the Sony XBR4 series of TV sets....WHY?
Because these TVs are the first to have the new 120Hz refresh rates. Sony lables it "Motion Flow Technology"
This new refresh rate sharpens Hi Speed Action like in Football games and any Game you presently own...Xbox, PS3, PS2 or Wii.....
And you CAN see the improvement.....
This is also found in ANY "WAX--3" chassis from Sony....
