World peace is very possible if we all do our part in the creation of it .The first thing that we all must tackle is that there are millions of people starving in a world of plenty and this is not a healthy relationship. The developed nations of the world must do an inventory and start distributing the goods of the world to all who are in need. Sharing is the foundation of a coming new civilization. The message of Maitreya today is that we all must wake up and realize our high divinity and the high source from which we all have come. We are all one big family and must wake up to this fact or we all will destroy ourselves and miss out in millions of years of spiritual evolution.

Not as long as God isn't directly in control. If there would be world unity, it would be under Satan, not God. That is the reason for the Tower of Babel. The world was unified at that point and God split them up because they unified in rebellion against Him. That's actually worse for mankind, in light of heaven and hell, than the world as it is today. You can find that story in Genesis either chapter 10 or 11. And when trying to determine where language came from, even atheists admit that this explanation is as good as any other. They don't have a clue how language evolved. Anyway, the Bible says that only Jesus, when He returns, will bring the world to peace. He will do so by wiping out evildoers by brute force. He's God, so He can do that. You can read about that in Revelation.

The bible says when it is that they (world governments, UN perhaps) are claiming "peace and security" sudden destruction will be instantly upon them like the pangs of distress on a pregnant woman , and they will by no means escape.

this was a prophecy by Jesus concerning the final part of the last days. When the government think they actually achieve world peace which will be relative, god step in.

interesting thing about this though. just before they make this claim, they already will have removed religion from the world scene, thinking that it is religion that is causing most of the wars in the world. (which is true).

so no world peace wont be achieved because they are trying to achieve it without God the whole reason he steps in to wipe them out....wella! Armageddon. pretty close dont you think.

I believe that world peace like anything else is possible. But I also believe that like everything else in life, it starts with each individual, If we all focused our energy in and owned it, perfected it, became it, then as energy does it has to move, I believe a balanced individual, who understands suffering, compassion, chooses not to be malicious, one who is not judgemental of others, someone who makes a difference every day, I don't mean curing cancer or enforcing world peace, but mabey changes just one life even with something like them smiling when before they weren't. Can you imagine what a vast difference life would be if we were all actually individuals, who focused on bettering and working on our own issues rather than being so judgemental and putting limits and reasons why we are better than others. There are things about religions, governments, companies, societies, ect that I don't agree with, but that doesn't mean its totally wrong. Now there are things that I have to stand against, like child abuse, sexual assult, past and modern day slavery, thrill killing, priest and other officials abusing their positions, ect but I try to go on an individual basis, not all priest molest children, not all cops are bad. I am far from perfect, I have done things people would just die over, and judge me and condem me to hell, but I have a very strong moral and loyalty compass. I understand that there is a balance, we all have good, evil, and black and white, yes I know there are shades of gray as well, hell there is an entire universe of colors. If we learn that we were not all meant to be the same, some things people have in common, but we are formed as an individual, and die as an individual. We don't need to like everyone, that is in possible, but just because we dont like or agree does not mean one is right and the other wrong. When people come to my house they may hate the way it looks, or how the laundry is covering the bedroom floor, theres always dishes in the sink, and I don't care. If it bothers you just leave, there is nothing you can say or looks you can give me, I dont care if you put an ad in the paper saying I'm a slob. I am who I am always, everywhere, I dont pretend to be someone I'm not, but one thing is I try mostly successfully not to judge. So is world peace possible, yes, but it saddens me to say that it may not happen during this lifetime.

No it's not. Because peace isn't rewarding. When 2 nations are at battle, a greater nation comes up and sells guns, artillery and army technological know-how to them and makes benefit. As the battle keeps, individuals in the ones nations are gonna get harm, shot or they're gonna want surgical procedures. And this time, that identical tremendous nation will promote healing, clinical instruments to them and it is going to present to ship its medical professionals over there who will paintings and generate profits and ultimately take that money again to their possess nations. Also, whilst the battle is over, the towns will likely be destroyed, the structures and infrastructure will ought to be rebuilt. So this time the tremendous one is gonna put into effect the ones nations to make use of its constructing contractors and firms and once more make make the most of rebuilding the battle torn nation. The wars additionally have an impact on farming enterprise. When the battle is over, the ones 2 nations at battle will ought to purchase new seeds and grains so tremendous man is gonna promote all they want and it is going to bind them with contracts in order that they preserve purchasing. These are only a few examples, there are lots of extra explanations why the arena will by no means discover peace. There is a rationale why wars holiday out in underdeveloped nations each time there's a international economic challenge. So that they suck the blood of the ones underdeveloped nations to make up for his or her possess loss and to stabilize their possess economic system.

I am sorry to say, world peace is not possible before the return of Jesus. There are to many differences between cultures and very few are willing to learn anything about the other cultures. The best we can do is to strive toward peace and be not of this worldly hate. God Bless.

No. There will be pseudo peace introduced by the antichrist and believed by many who are deceived by him. But this false peace will be uncovered and the antichrist will be revealed for who he is. We are in the end times I believe and things are only going to get worse. This opportune time is when the antichrist promises peace, but as we all know satan is a liar and deceives many, even today. Read Revelation. This may sound very grim, but there is eternal hope for the true christians. Woe to the unbelievers when all hell breaks loose on this earth!! If you are a true christian, you have Jesus with you, "even til the end". God bless you

World Peace is not only possible but also is sure to happen in the future. It is prophesied in the Bible and it will come about by just rule of Christ and His Bride in the age to come. Unless hearts of men are reformed, all talk of world peace is simply wishful thinking.

Sure when Jesus comes back to set up His millennial reign; then we'll have peace on earth for about one-thousand years! But, until *that* happens there will be wars and rumors of wars! Until then, we can only pray and preach and teach the Gospel (Truth) of God's Word!
