God first announced His name, the name He wanted to be known by to His people, to Moses.
The word in Hebrew is a four letter word, whose English equivalent would be YHWH. In Hebrew - Yod Heh Wav Heh
Some religions have transliterated this vowelless word into Jehovah or Yahweh. Those are human words.
The YHWH means "I Am." (It could also mean "I Will Be" since the Hebrew language does not have any provisions for the tense of the verb).
But I believe God's name is I AM, because everything that is, is God. We are a part of God...
Also Jesus told the Pharisees, "Before Moses was, I AM," confirming the name of the true God.

God's name is Jehovah. His name can be found in Psalm 83:18.
I am Jehovah. That is my name; and to no one else shall I give my own glory, neither my praise to graven images.
Isaiah 42:8
His name is not Adonai, Elohim, LORD God, or God. His name is Jehovah - can be also known as Yahweh in Hebrew.
Adonai is the Hebrew word which means Lord.
Elohim is another Hebrew word which means God.

First of all original name YHWH (Yahweh), Adonai called by the Jews for reason's as not to be guilty of blasphemy.
JEHOVAH english translation.
Other names in foreign Countries as long as it is derived from the Original name in their language.
Almighty God knows all, so if calling Him the right name, He knows and hears. Call Him the wrong name, "I can't hear you!"
I also would like to add; to call God Almighty just "Lord" is not enough. Lord is just a title, not a name.

God's name is Jehovah. To prove it, read Psalms 83:18. It says, "That people may know, that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the most high over all the Earth."

There are many names for God. Some of them include Jehova Rapha, Jehova Nici, Jehova Jira, King of kings, Lord of lords, and Emmanuel. This only scratching the surface of the many names of God. There are so many names for Him in the Bible too. That is the best source for some of the names. Hope this helps!!!
