Okay this may sound confusing so i'm gonna make it as clear as possible. I have two friends. One guy who we'll call D and one girl who we'll call G. So Me and G are friends through church and me and D are just regular friends. Well D used to go to my church a long time ago. On facebook, G recognized D from church back in middle school and started commenting eachother. I then read that they were handing eachothers numbers out and have been texting eachother. The thing is...I like G, and maybe want a relationship. (she's a year younger than I, while D is the same grade as me)D said he is gonna start becoming more involved with my youth group this year, which means that G and D will see eachother more often and become closer. I don't want G starting to like D...so my question is, what should I do? Is this even a big deal?

If you need me to clarify, just ask and i'll try to add any needed info.

If you like the girl then it could be a big deal. You need to make this girl aware of how you feel about her before anything happens between the two of them, try spending more time with her, be flirtacious, perhaps even ask her out to the movies or something. Maybe nothing will happen between the two of them but you will be gutted if it does and you miss your chance. If she says she's not interested then at least you know where you stand and at least you have tried. Good luck, hope you get the girl
