I think their smart

I think atheists are humans with the same capabilities as all the other humans in the world. Yes, many are highly intelligent, and some are not...just as it is in any group.

Perhaps it is their intelligence that makes faith difficult for them.

What do I think of them? I think they have the same right to voice their opinions as I.

I'm an atheist and most of my friends are atheists and I think we're all smart. :) But I know smart Christians that I like too. And I don't think that I like my atheist friends primarily because they are atheist, or even primarily because they are smart. It is more because they are open-minded, compassionate, and ethical.

I believe that atheism is quite fashionable nowadays. Certainly people of faith believe what they are told, but the interesting thing is that atheists generally are often far more dogmatic about the non-existence of God than believers are firm in their own beliefs. Most believers are occasional agnostics, but many atheists deny the existence of a Creator so vehemently that one wonders --- why?

Certainly one can attack the Judeo/Christian version of creation, which is wholly metaphorical yet surprisingly accurate. But why all this conflict with God, and this scorn for believers? Why the contempt? Why hang out in forums like this and heap scorn on people who do not believe in spontaneous generation?

LOL, what is funny to me is that you say "their smart" and use the wrong homonym. I teach "their" and "they're" in 3rd grade.

You used the wrong homonym.

"They're" is the correct form. (They are)

"their" is a possessive.

I think THEY'RE like anyone else; some are smart, and some are not. Some are nice, and some are not.

I think so too. I like their questions and answers. I enjoy how they think and analyze. It does not matter either if they disagree with me. I am sure alot of them are very kind and compassionate people and give alot to this world just as individuals.

Thank you. I think you are pretty neat, too. I love atheists. There's something about reason that stirs the blood and makes it worth getting up in the morning!

Atheists are using their agency to make decisions based on their experiences. Better to do that than swallow something whole that you've never even investigated seriously.

I say this as a christian myself.

You didn't finish that sentence. "I think their smart....(what, smart brains are sexy?)..." Oh, you meant "they're" not "their".

I don't think of atheists, actually. I think of other stuff.
