Because they think that once Jesus died for our sins, they are saved and could continue to sin. Although "Our heart is willing but our flesh is weak", we should still put God's Laws in front of us and control ourselves. They shouldn't always bring out the excuse that we are sinners and imperfect. We have the ability to self-control and we should use it to our utmost.
Like the Bible said: Only those who do the will of God and endure to the End would be saved.

We could also ask:

"Why is it that some Muslims have premarital sex?"
"Why is it that some Mormons have premarital sex?"

They're not following doctrine or have slipped and made a mistake.

If 'Christian' = 'led by Christ'
And 'Christ does not sin'
And 'premarital sex' = 'sin'
Then 'Christians do not have premarital sex'

Actually, fornication is a deal-breaker. Someone who is a fornicator will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Thus, scripturally speaking, a fornicator *cannot be* a Christian. You cannot have salvation and fornication at the same time.

Of course, a *former* fornicator can be a Christian.

They have a hard time separating Christian values and cultural values. It is easier to accept the cultural values and our culture has said it is ok to have pre marital sex.

some (or most) "christians" think that as long as they go to church, are baptized, and take communion, they're saved and have nothing to worry about. A lot of them don't care if they sin.

That's a HUGE mistake.

Are you nuts?
What does this even mean?
Just because they claim to be Christians doesn't make them bullet proof.
They are Sinners first and foremost.
