Everybody is welcome to intepret it, but I would need someone who is a Christian and understands biblical interpretation. But here is my dream. I was looking at a field and there was a large tree about 30 ft long laying on it's side. The tree was rotted and decaying. I proceeded to the tree with caution looking for snakes. I grabbed the top end of the tree and lifted it. It was like a top layer of the tree came up and fell over onto the ground. Inside that first layer was nothing buy decaying tree fiber. I grabbed it a second time, and a second layer came off with nothing under it except decaying tree fiber. Then at the third layer I saw a huge earthworm which was about 3 and half ft long and as big around as a coke bottle. I notices that half of it was like destroyed or deflated. I pulled the earthworm out and put it on the ground. I said in the dream Whoa everyone has to see this. Then I noticed something moving in place where the earthworm was. It was a centipede the

Okay contiuing on, the centipede was the same size as the worm. I said again, wow look at the size of this. I took a stick and pried the centipede out of the tree and got it onto the ground. I took a stick and held it's head down while I tried to grab it. When I went to grab it, it curled around my around and tried to bite me. I was worried in my dream because I knew Centipedes are poisonous. I wrestled with it and it bit me anyway, but the bite did not harm me. Finally, I managed to grab it by it's head. I had it in a awkward position. I pulled on it's head, but it dug it's claws into my arm. I felt that I could have pulled it's head off, but I felt some compassion. Some people appeared and asked me if I needed help. They tried to pull the centipede's claws out of my arm. But when they pulled one set out another went in. Then I felt a heart beating from the centipede, since it was stretched across my back like a towel. Then the dream ended. I woke up bothered.

In the Bible, numbers usually mean something. The fact that you peeled the bark back three times through three layers, may mean that you will make 3 attempts to unconver something that is hidden. The tree represents something that is rotting from within and you are searching for what is going on. The earthworm represents something that had been protected, but was attacked and is halfway defeated and devoured by Satan, the centipede represents Satan, who has destroyed this person (or at least half of them) and this tree over time. It now seeks to devour you, however you, you are fighting, he still clings to you and seeks to devour you, yet you are struggling against him and he may be start to gain a foothold in your life as you can start to feel his heartbeat. Think about your church, a close friend of yours, your family something that could be rotting undernieth that you are not aware of. Once you expose what is going on, the person you rescued (the worm) will be saved, but Satan will turn his vengence on you.

Remember, Satan is the father of lies, and the only power he has is his lies. Someone you know or perhaps many people may have been decieved.. Perhaps something that has been passed down through generations or has creeped up. Seek the truth in everything you know, something is being disguised here and you may be discovering a closely hidden or guarded secret that Satan is going to fight like mad to be sure it isn`t exposed. The people watching and asking if you need help, are people around you. If they help, they will be attacked too, but you will need them and their prayers, otherwise, Satan will overpower you.

What I am getting is that you are having problems. The first layer of the tree apeared healthy, but underneath- in its heart, it was rotting away. The tree represents either something in your life or a group of people you trust, like your church. Something, somewhere underneath the surface, is trying to destroy you or the unity between you and God or within your people group. Because there are two different creatures, I would suggest it's coming from two different sources, like spiritual attack as well as something from this world. The fact that the poisonous centipede bit you and you were not harmed means that God is protecting you- giving you the power to overcome both sources. Whatever it is that is rotting is not yet dead. You can save it.

Thta is what I get, after praying about it. I don't know much about dream interpretation, because I have never done it before, but if it sounds right to you, please let me know. I would be extremely happy to know that God has given me the gift of dream interpretation.

how bothered? totally moved beyond sanity for a while [like moses comin down from the mount?] if not I'd say it was a message from you own spirit of a spiritual nature. Perhaps dead ancestors or other agents of the spirit world, but not GOD directly.

in short you are being prodded because you procrastinate the LORDs work...may it be genealogy, teaching your children or your peers, something.

the tree is your testimony of Christ, grown cold and rotted from non-use. But if you dig you will find there is life there. This Life became more powerful when you gave it some attention. Your faith is strong and will claw into you if you will let it.

Hello,
Im not christian but I hope you dont mind me doing my best to answer this. I think this dream can represents 2 things:
1) something in your life you feel is rotting and isnt going well. A relationship? A situation? A friendship? You feel as if your life is becoming dull and the situation is terribly ruining an aspect of your life. YOu feel unsafe and dying (emotionally).
2) The tree represents Life. Humans life which God created. The tree is human life and its supposed to grow and be beautiful, like the human soul. But in your dream the tree is dying and rotting, just like a lot of ppl in today's life are using cocain, alcohol, and way too much sex. You feel as if the tree is dying and humans are waisting their planet and falling into an oblivion. The worm is evil. It ruined the tree also. You feel as if you get rid of the worm (evil) you can save the tree, (human life)

notice I write in past tense but I don't know if it should be present or what...something that has tried to harm you (but didn't succeed)has received compassion from you and mercy and you realized it did indeed have "a heart"...the tree was rotting but hadn't "given in yet" and whatever was trying to kill it was dying in itself...it is said some centipedes have 100 feet and that is what their name means...
100 = fullness; full measure; full recompense; full reward, etc. (Gen 26:12; Mark 10:30)
...I read your responses to others and wanted to contribute...but I am just guessing I do not know the word well enough...hope the number info is helpfull...also there was 1 worm, 1 tree, and 1 you...1 = God; beginning; source; first; unity
2 = number of witness (in the mouth of two or more witnesses); friendship
3 = Godhead; trinity; divine completeness; perfect testimony
...someone mentioned friendship...befroe I read that I was going to add the number breakdown for 2 b/c o f the worm and centipede = 2 animals...guess I should have went w/ my instinct...originally

If you think it is a religious dream then I would say that the tree is the tree of life/knowledge. Earthworm/centipede is temptation that you are struggling with. You can't fully win against it because some aspect has your heart. Since this is an Adam/Eve situation, could your spouse be causing you some trouble making life "rotten."

There must be something in life that your not sure of and its big . your looking for snakes because snakes are enemies that try to harm you because of jealousy. because u seen no snakes that's a good sign and because u seen an earthworm no matter what the size its still harmless. Now the centipede bit you but you held it down and when it bit you felt no pain and that's also a good sign what ever your worried about all sign point to good.. to me anyway

This is not a dream from God. It is a dream about sexual anxiety. What made you think it was religious?

you're rotten to the core, & your guilty conscience is still gnawing away inside you, you've try to quell your conscience with something else, with something just as bad, if not worse,
the tree:you
the worm; your conscience
the centipede; to replace the worm
