Americans who serve aren't the ones that declare war, my friend. That would be whoever happens to be president at the time (i.e G.W Bush). You were right about the brave men, they are indeed brave to voluntarily serve. Some are stupid and hot-headed, some are intelligent and open-minded.

Vietnam wasn't even our war so I'm not sure what 'defeat' you're referring to. Iraq isn't panning out too well, but that's far from being history since it is currently going on. Shall we talk about WWII? Korea? Desert Storm? None of these are defeats... I suggest you re-think your knowledge and false ego before posting brash nonsense like this.

Right you are going to sit and critique the Americans for going to war and losing? When was the last time the French actually won a war, or anything for that matter? Everytime France got into some sh*t wasnt it America or some other country that had to come bail you out? Thats why when they sell French military weapons they advertise them as "Never used, only dropped once."

Yes, they don't want to go to war, but that's because America is killing enough people already for the whole world, both their own and the Mid-Easts.

America gets into so many wars because they are so nosy and can't keep to their own business, like hurricane victims.

well most of the world does not want to go to war because the US is busy worrying about every other country out there instead of their own.

Most countrys do not have to go to war because we defend them or stick our nose into something that we have no deal being in most of the time.

That way it makes us look like **** for defending everyone and the country were defending does not even get a bad rep.

So maybe the french do not want to go to war but they will gladly have someone like the US fight their battles for them along with many other countries.

Yes the men that fight are brave in the US but thats for any person who chooses to fight for their country weather it be american, french, chinese and so on.

You have to be brave to leave your family and friends to possibly go die for people you have never met before, and take the chance of people not respecting what you did, and having to do whatever you govt wants you too and once your in you have no choice, so yah thats bravery no matter which country your from. Plus americans do not give up and keep going as long as our govt wants them too.

Yea you seem to forget, or re-write the fact that the French were the ones who started the conflict in Vietnam. The French broke the trade embargo of Iraq allowing Hussein to acquire money and arrogance to not let the UN inspectors in that got us where we are today.

The French care about nothing, but themselves and money. When they are in trouble America will help them just like an older brother looks after his retarded sibling.

Do you feel better. Americans are brave and we do lose good men and women in battle. Regardless if we win, lose or draw we can hold our head up high and still be proud, you can only wish your heritage was as proud as ours. The difference is France have been occupied by an enemy America never have and the French Resistance were heroes and did themselves proud .
