today i bought French bread. It came in a paper bag. Then the Cashier put the whole thing in a Safeway plastic bag. That's three, brother: the bread, the bakery's bag, and that of the Safeway. Three in one. I got it, I got it???.

So you are saying;

And the Safeway bag descended in a bodily shape like ......, and the voice of Bread came from above, which said, Thou art my beloved bakery bag......

please do ponder this:

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

(New Testament | John 20:17)

I think it's more like that particular loaf of bread is a physical manifestation of the idea of bread. It has a smell that serves to make you hungry for bread.

So you have the concept of bread, the physical manifestation of bread, and the smell of bread. I'm not saying these are directly analogous to father, son, and holy spirit. I'm saying that "bread" manifests itself in many ways.

well, your answer makes as much sense as the doctrine, which is pagan(dating at least from the days of Nimrod), not found my word or inference in the Bible, and is generally pretty silly. Sorry in advance to any of you guys out ther clinging to it, but those are the facts, just pick up any encyclopedia, and while you are at it look up Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. You might not like what you learn.

Praise The Lord. What a great illustration for others. I also use the apple theory. Seed, apple, skin.

Hey, why not? That makes as much sense as some people's concept of God, which is just as confusing.
