I had twins so I gave up a lot.

I gave up my size 7 body.
I gave up my freedom to just get up and go when I want to.
I gave up 100% alone time with my husband.
I gave up my life, because it's not about me anymore, it's all about them.

And I wouldn't change it for the world.

I waited until 26 unitl I had my first child and then had another at 31. I can't say I gave up anything because I was so excited to have my kids I have loved every minute of it. We are now watching our son,18 as he pursues a career in framing and still homeschooling our 14 yr old dd. I have thought about this and can only come up with all I have been able to do because I have kids. It keeps you young and is always interesting getting to know them as they grow and change!
