I dont wanna drag my huge tv to my new dorm so want to get a new TV. Whats a good one preferebly less than $500????? also will play ps3 on it thx. plz tell me the best cheap TV thats not tube tv. thanks!!!

How big of a screen is going to fit in your dorm? LCD monitors up to 22" are pretty cheap these days and you can get an external TV tuner with ATSC/NTSC//QAM, video inputs, and VGA output for less than $100.

anything by toshiba. and you can get one for like 250. all the tv that i buy are toshiba i have 3 the oldest one in my living room is 17 year's old. the color is still vibrant. a year ago my son spilled milk on it. it didnt work for 3 day's i thought it was a gonner. but it dried out and worked just as beautifully.
so Toshiba is the way to go

Try a 26" Element LCD HDTV at Circuit City or a 19" Samsung LCD HDTV , I would prefer Samsung because I think it is better and it has split screen,

Buy an insignia they are like paper plates. use them and toss them.
