K long story short.

Im 17, male
Finished off this school year with great marks
Have a great girlfriend
Got a new job that i really like
Pretty much have a great life at the moment

But im not feeling like myself lately... Usually im spontaneous and random, blurting out funny things and just not giving a care about what other people think. But (for no apparent reason) now im very concious about what i say. I over-think everything too much, mostly if what im saying is funny or not and if my friends will like me? even though i know im fine and that my friends will like me/laugh anyways.

Im not sad, yet im not entirely happy. Its like im just in neutral or something. I used to have a mild depression before but i know its not depression anymore. I dont know what to do to relax / get back to my old self.

Everyone gets the blahs once in a while. There might not even be a big reason for it. Maybe you need to just try something new to add a little bit of excitement into your life. Take up a new hobby or go on a vacation. See if that shakes you out of your funk.

I'm going through the same thing, but I'm abnormally mature for my age. You just got a new job so that might mean responsibilty is showing. If you want to be happy or sad or something...
*Read a religious book
*Read a controversial book
*Ask questions. Knowing more about your parents lives or how the world works takes advantage of unstimulated mind.

Last of all, Maybe being more concious is a good thing. Offending people is never good unless it results positivly.

You could very well have depression or a depressive disorder. There's also a condition called dysthymia, which a health care worker compared to a low resistance to sad moods. I did a bit of research and it's defined as low-level depression.

Please tell your parents and have them find you a psychiatrist or counselor to help you deal with your problem.

Well,
Dont consider ths a bad thing.
How may adults do you see running around blurting things out (if there not drunk). Thsi is just saying that you are maturing. That is probably a good thing.
