Though it doesn't seem like it at first, alcohol is a depressant--it makes us depressed! Putting off your paperwork for the school is a sign of depression.

Don't turn down the school--get someone to help you with the paperwork, if necessary. Just get it done, so that you can continue with your life's goals and ambitions--and get out of your town.

There are free and sliding-scale mental health clinics in every city, in every state. If you feel that you are overwhelmed--call your local emergency room or police department to get the phone number of a mental health clinic. They may give you medication that will help you deal with the stress--or they may get to the root of your problem by just talking with you.

I have the feeling that you'll be fine as soon as you have your paperwork done, and get to your new school. Don't pass up such an opportunity because of being stressed out. There's too much medication and counseling available--there will also be counseling at your new school.

I think you should pray. That is what I do. Someone is listening to you and thats what you need.
I believe you should go the the ivy league school. This is the start of a great adventure. Meet new people and get a life for yourself. Start now. Work on the paperwork.
You need to get away from your old friends and old town before you get stuck in a rut and end up going no where because you were afraid to move on.
