A True Teacher will never give you anything. A True Teacher will take those things away from you that are unnecessary for the journey.

if you mean like a guru, this is necessary because an ordinary man is in a relatively low level of consciousness. A spiritual teacher is in a high level of consciousness and thru association, the student 'can' rise to a higher level. Without doing this, there can be no true clarity.

Because everybody is unique and has unique experiences, insights, and past knowledge (either academic or practical) that can add to your understanding of any subject. To use a religious example, in Judaism the Torah is read every year, from cover to cover, a few chapters every week. You would think that after the first couple of times, that would be adequate to understand all the material - but it isn't! Every year you age, every year things happen in the world, every year you come in contact with new people and new situations and when you read the words you read last year, it's a new you reading them. Same with a spiritual teacher. Every hour, every day, every month and every year you are a new you, and so is he/she. There is always a new perspective to see, and by bouncing those ideas off of each other you get a better view.

specific I nonetheless believe that sacrifice is critical. The Egyptian faith replaced right into a philosophy of dying, and the main suitable of the egyption gods Osiris, the god of dying. interior the initiation the terrific attempt replaced into that of the tomb : basically the guy that replaced into keen to die ought to wish to be resuscitated. So now I presume it incredibly is our inner zoo we could sacrifice, which I presume are the weaknesses and passions, greed, lust, sensuality and so on, via remodeling the the brute stress. So cheer up even although you may properly be suffering now i'm specific you will get there sometime (shaggy dog tale ). Thankyou.

it is not.

however a spiritual teacher will speed the process.

without someone to teach you, a spiritual journey can be very
confusing, and many simply stop trying because they get fusterated because nothing seems clear. the teacher simply helps you to interprit your meditations and visions. and to offer some of his experience to you.

A spiritual teacher just helps you ask yourself the questions that you need to ask yourself. If you get your answers from someone else, you learn nothing.

Sometimes it helps to seek wisdom from gurus, but I think it is best to search for your own wisdom on your own.
