i live in south florida in weston to be specific and i want to box but the gyms are expensive here. i go to school and work my *** of so i could pay membership but all i have seen are gyms over 100 bucks a month. the cheapest one i found was warriors boxing gym 100 bucks a month everything included no contract you pay as you go. is it a ripoff or what should i do? if anybody knows of a good cheap gym nearby please tell me. id appreciate it thanks.

This is a pro gym..... google the amateur boxing gyms in your area. This is the place where you should be starting off anyway. Good luck to you champ.... boxing is the greatest sport.

I'd suggest you just put up a mini-gym at home. All you need are a heavy bag, speed bag with platform and swivel, double end bag, skip ropes, gloves, hand wraps and a large mirror. Then get an instructional video (there are hundreds out there) or better yet watch how fighters train. You can have all these for about 200 bucks and you don't have to worry about your travel time.
