every night I notice, even when I've had dinner I get really hungry, I mean huge hunger cravings. I'm eating fairly healthy, dairy, fiber, wholemeal, fruits, veggies things like that, and i'm eating 5 small meals a day, yet as soon as it's nighttime, literally starving. I don't starve myself during the day, so what could be the possible cause for this hunger i'm feeling?

try spreading out the time a little between your meals and make sure you get enough protein at your last meal of the day. If you are eating your last meal farily early and stay up late, this could also affect your hunger pangs.

Also, studies have shown that consuming broth based soups fools the stomach into being full, more so than drinking an equal number of calories in a beverage.

Well first off..don't do a diet like that, eat three square meals a day and believe me, it'll help. We do all get midnight munchies..but it's not normal to do it every day..start eating more, i'm sure you are beautiful no matter what. i just don't see the big deal on people dieting, we are all beautiful. sure, i don't mind eating HEALTHIER..but don't change your metabolism..as soon as you get off diets you'll gain the weight back. take my advice, if you never go on a diet, you will never be fat. my mom taught me that, i'm teaching you that. anyway..slowly change from 5 small meals to 3 healthy and normal meals.

5 small meals is. Thats a weight thing/program where you eat a lot of little maels instead of 3 decently big ones. You need to eat a little more in your 5 small meals.

Thats a really good diet but i think your missing one
thing carbohydrates you need to eat them other wise you
do get really hungry because they give you energy and they
fill you up for longer don't know if it will help but it stops my hunger & i eat 3 big meals and i snack between each one so
i'm always full and ready to go!
Good luck!

Some of us just get hungrier at night.

A glass of milk soy or dairy in the evening may take off the edge.

Talk to your doctor, of course.

Also, consider going to sleep earlier in the evening. It really helps.

you should eat a light, healthy snack at least ever twoo hours between regular meals and that should help, my favorite is a honey wheat rice cake with a little peanut butter, it's healthy and filling, and it tastes great! =)
