Probably, but would you really want honey on your salad? or flies around it for that matter? lol
I've never liked that phrase. It hints that one should be flattering and dishonest. Only control freaks like to tell people that crap.

I don't know how to carch flies with either honey or vinegar- is that some type of stirfry method? Perhaps the vinegar evaporates too fast?

I know you can catch a lot of bees with orange juice...great if they are bothering you around your deck.
