i breath in my my chest makes a funny noise...and when i cough mucus comes out..what does this mean?

Sounds like you have stuff in your lungs and probably some sort of infection. You should see your doctor and let him/her make a diagnosis.

Have you been coughing a lot? You create more mucus when you have a cold, some kind of infection, or an allergy. People cough because some of the mucus goes into the lungs. Go see a doctor.

Upper respitory infection. Probably not asthma. I have asthma, and have never had a problem with coughing up mucus. (Unless I am sick. Then it just sucks.)

there are a few bugs going around. I just got over something like that. try taking some Benedryl if you don't want to go to the dr. right away.
