I actually have a Red Ryder bb-gun. It's very slow. I don't think it can shoot anyone's eye out.

they sell pump action guns that dont require CO2. but it wont be a semi-automatic, you'll have to pump it for every shot and they are not as strong. you can find them easily at most sporting stores or through hunting catalogues, depending on your state of residence.
