Hi, my name is danielle and ill be 13 in 3 days. heres my problem. I did one of the stupidest things in the world..... i didnt bring family first.
A few days ago i went to the movies with my BFF and my cousin. My cousin and i got into a fight about that dancing game DDR how we are better than eachother and stupid stuff. She got pissed ran away and i told her fine! find your own ride! which was one of the stupidest things i could have done. She told my dad and my dad started yelling at me for doing that stupid thing, he was yelling so hard i cried fro an hour! i went upstairs an called my cousina nd told her how sorry i was and we were friends again. The bad part is my family is going on vacation in exactly one week and my dad said my punishment will be not to go on vacation, he even told my brother to cancel my reservation! what do i do!?!?! i cant call him because my dad will start screaming and make me cry. I also have a feeling he wont come to see me on my birthday! Please help!

All you can do is tell him the same thing you told your cousin, and apologize again. Sincerity matters so much. You might ask him if there is anything you can do to make up for it, and to please let you go on the trip. If he is still so angry he must have some issues that have nothing to do with you. No Dad in his right mind would not come to see you on your birthday because of this. If by chance he doesn't come, it's not your fault. He just must have problems that you don't know about.

give it a couple of days and say your sorry. you already started to do the right thing you said sorry to your cousin that's what really matters. your father will get over it eventually.

give him time and some space. dont annoy him too much or he'll just get more upset, show your regret in simple ways like good behaviour and a quieter attitude and dont be around him too much. he will start thinking abt how u r handling your punishment.
