Im Mexican and proud and i have noticed that most puerto ricans doesnt support ilegals like the americans, i just want to know why? since they are immigrants just like the rest of us.

Don't generalize, not all Puerto Ricans feel that way towards immigrants. I am Puerto Rican and I do not have any bad feelings towards immigrants. Puerto Ricans are not immigrants, we are american citizens.

Hi there, I am Puertorican and yes we are hispanics that by some crazy past became american citizens. No, we have nothing against immigrants! Actually I am living in Queretaro, Mexico, married to a mexican and no hard feelings here!

Puerto Ricans are Americans. Technically, "American Nationals."

Puerto Ricans are law abiding....and technically they are american nationals since PR is under the US ....

Well they may immigrate to the mainland US they are citizens of a US territory and therefore are not considered foriegn nationals.

They probably don't like the idea of sharing. Could mean less for them.

I guess there's dissension amongst the immigrants themselves
