Tell your friend first, see how she reacts. If she reacts well to the news then make your move, if she doesnt you have to measure which is more important. Your best friend or the guy you have a crush on.

Ha! Ok, sorry I've been in this situation. The girl wasn't my best friend though, we were just good friends. I told her that I liked her brother and even though she said that she never told him, I know that she did. The next year of my life around him was completely awkward and I eventually moved on. I know found out that he is gay, haha. SO my advice to you would be to tell your best friend, if you feel as if you can trust her, and then hope for the best. You should not hide things from people, especially your best friend, because in the end everyone will find out and get angry. Good luck girl!! :)
