about a year ago, my best guy frend tol me that he was falling in love with me. it came to me as a shock bt i had to tell him the truth da i didnt feel the same way. that even tho he felt lyk that ntn was gon to change btwn us. =) he den later on went to a different school as me, n we didnt tak as much as we use to. i started going out with dis guy.(we have been togetha for a year) and things were ok. wen until my best guy fren started coming bak into my life. he already moved on and started asking me advice bout girls n how to get with his crush and so.... but i noticed that i started geting real jealous. i didnt want him talkn to any girls. i have been thinking about him so much that my bf isnt even on my mind anymore. i cant sleep at nite becuz he keeps me awake!! help me plz!! advice me on wat to!! i cant tell him, n if i do i ratha tell him in person. but wat about my bf?? help!!!!!!!!!

It's really difficult if not impossible for a guy and a girl to hang out a lot and not start to feel something. I and many friends have tried this unsuccessfully many times.
The reason they do this is denial most of the time. One or the other, or both people are afraid of intimacy. So they do the friends thing so they can still have the company of the opposite sex and tell themselves that it's not a sexual or romantic relationship.
Now he's not in your face anymore. Now the feelings for him are free to come out. Now he's an escape from your current relationship rather that a reality. Now he glows like the sun.
See this as an escape fantasy. Unless your boyfriend is an abusive cheater or something like that, this old friend of yours is not going to be that much better than what you have now. Try not to let your fear get the better of you. Work this stuff out with friends or maybe a therapist. You've got a year invested with your current boyfriend. Unless your incredibly unhappy with him, why would you want to throw away that year of building a relationship?
