Okay so this is what i would tell the parents of the child im Babysitting-

Hi im Katie, and i am 13 years old. I have babysat ages 4months to 7 years old. I really love kids and would love to play sports with them and be outside. I can feed infants and toddlers easily, i can change diapers and, i can try to make your kid have a fun time while your out. - the end

I have babysat like 3 families kids, one with triplets one with twins and a little one, then the other with twins and an older one. I guess you could say i have good refs. but that would be up to you.

So what do you think would you trust me a 13 year old with your kids, obviously we would meet and get to no each other but with the stuff i told you should i be able to take care of ur child?

yea i no i probably will get some bad answers but you know. that happens

oh yeah i also can be very patient, and i have a 3y/o cousin who i babysit every weekend for two hours

You sound mature and capable of doing an amazing job. I'd trust you, of course after i checked out your references. Are you cpr certified or at least have knowledge of it? Thats something good to know also and i'd ask whoever watched my kids. Good Luck Girlie!!

I would check with your parents and references and most important meet with you. If you showed the ablility be mature enough to watch and had good references I am sure I would use you to babysit! Though if I had an infant I'm not sure I would be comfortable with with your age.
Good Luck!

I think the question here is how long you would be watching the child what their ages are and the other factors. If it were a short time and the circumstances ok I would say yes and good luck.

I would let you babysit, If I knew you, your parents, and your refrences were good. I would probably only leave you for like an hour while I run an errend or something, but once I knew that I could trust you I would let you babysit for however long I needed you.
Good luck.

most likely, especially if i knew the families that you babysat for or your parents. even if i didn't know them, if you had good references (which it sounds like you do) just make sure you give them the numbers of the people you sat for. I babysat babies 6months old when i was your age.

I think I'd let you watch mine! Of course, keep in mind, its what the kids say about you after spending time w/ you that makes the parents decide to call you again or not! Good luck, and have fun!

If i knew you and your parents, and had older kids I would probably consider you for an hour or two at a time since you have good references.

Wow, how did you manage to get all that experience with multiples?

I like it all, except for the last line: "I can try to make your kid have a fun time whil eyou are out." You can't "make" someone have fun. ;o) Instead, how about saying that you know the parent will have nothing to worry about while they are out.

Be sure to mention your references, too. They're impressive.

This sounds good, Katie. I think your references will count more to the parents, but this sounds like you have considered this in a very mature manner! Nice job :)

I would only trust what you said if I called your references and asked them about you (the people that you use to babysit for).
