Why do people try and say who is saved and who is not? doesn't God love everyone and therefore bring us all to Heaven in the end?
and why is it that so many people focus on eternity and not the life God gave us to live?

You hit the nail on the head. It's like we are all going to Los Angele's. Some take a plane, some take the bus, some walk and some hop a train. We all experience different things along the way. We all get there at different times. But we all get there. The only thing to be saved from is people that want to save you. God is unconditional love.

Maybe I can help. Saved people are saved from sin.

Do you know what sin is? It is the deliberate act of committing wrong. It is not a thought that comes into your head.

No male or female human can server God with the nature that they are born with. That nature is also know as the old man, that adamic nature, the sin nature, etc. God has to take that nature, the nature that you

born with, and radically execute it. Only He is able to do this. Then He will radically infuse the individual with His (God's) Holy Spirit. The individual can then begin serving God. and miss going down below.

I hope I have helped you. Any more questions I will try my best to answer you.

People are always forgetting the Holy part of God's nature. He cannot allow sin to remain in his presence. Most people get the Love aspect of God, knowing that He wants us to join him in heaven.

Once you put both points together, everything in the Bible falls into place. Gods love so intense he sacrificed his beloved son to pay for our wrongdoing. How can any reasoning person reject such a gift? Only two answers come to mind: disbelief and pride.

Now, people who believe the obvious and put aside their pride accept Jesus as their savior. Once you have found such a great gift and know it is free to anyone who asks for it...wouldn't you , in love, want to share it with everyone?

The bible tells us how to be saved. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved". That's how we know.

As a Christian, I have an eternal perspective of things. I know this life is very short compared to all eternity. I also try to be the kind of person God would have me be, while I live on this earth.

What if I don't want to go to Heaven? Do I have to? Why do Christians have so much to say about people who don't believe in god, and really don't care if they think I'm damned!?!?!

You're right, God decides who is saved. Just because somebody has a fish on their car doesn't mean that they're saved.

Find out the name of God that has been erased from most modern bibles and there you'll find the TRUTH.

The consequences of organize religions in our societies and throughout history shows how vulnerable people are to irrational philosophies, corrupt religious leathers, and dangerous superstitions.

To be "saved" or not its just part of the brainwashing system!

It depends on your understanding of God, doesn't it?

Some people seem to relish the thought of people who disagree with them suffering for all eternity.

But I say, what applies to one applies to all, and if someone expects their deity to behave that way to others then that's what they can expect for themselves.

I believe in Love... and love would never do this. I like your way better.

The only time I need saving is when I am gravely ill or being attacked by someone .
Then you are welcomed to intervene.
