started 2 months after he began smoking pot,chronic, purple kush...ect. but he is convience that he has the ability to talk to god and might be a prophet, he claims he can preform small miracles through the power of god( even thought i never seen him do such things) i dont know weather to believe him or tell him his crazy. for the past few months i just been going along with his believes

Your cousin needs to see a doctor.
Lots of people believe they talk to God, that's okay. If he says he's a prophet and performs miracles, he's probably delusional and needs psychiatric treatment.
If he has lines of people outside of his house waiting for him to perform miracles for him or to become his followers, go ahead and join them if you want to.
But, I'll bet money that ain't gonna happen.
You could see if he can be appointed shaman of your tribe if you belong to that kind of culture, but I guessing you don't.
I know a guy who works at Wal Mart who thinks he's Jesus when he forgets to take his medication. I heard another guy in a nursing home who said "My mother is the Virgin Mary, so do you know who I am?" I have seen more than one person in the state hospital who say they wrote the Bible.
Religious delusions are a fairly common part of mental illness. I think your cousin needs help. If you want to be the only convert to his new religion, maybe you need help too.

Well, just so maybe you will feel a little better, anyone can talk to God, even you. I talk to Him several times a day, in prayer. As for the stuff about being a prophet and performing small miracles, I'd say he has been touched by the power of chronic instead of God. God can give His gifts and special powers to perform miracles in His name. However, in all my scriptural studies, I've not run across reference of God bestowing these special gifts upon anyone known to be a chronic head. I do believe your cousin is getting lost in the high weeds! Clip his angel wings and put him back into his cage before he hurts himself.

Actually, just because someone is crazy it doesn't mean they are not a real prophet. Take a look at all the prophets in the Bible living in the desert and eating grasshoppers. It sort of seems like being crazy actually makes it MORE likely that you are a real prophet.
If any of his prophecies sound interesting, write them down. Even if he is not a real prophet, you could still possibly dupe a bunch of people into believing in it. It worked out well for quite a few obviously false prophets in history.

So what? if he talk to his God ,Great atleast he have achieved it. if you accept that you are the living temple of God then why can't you talk to him within yourself. all known prophets in their time was never accepted and was even considered to be insane. look at him deeper he may make sense in life later.

Um...well for one..I gotta feeling that he's WAY too high...and I believe in what Dogma says...that God cannot talk to man...he went through five Adams to figure that one out....

If he is into drugs and telling you these things, then I would tend not to believe him. I don't think God is doing things through him if he is taking drugs, which, by the way, the Bible calls "pharmekia" and we shouldn't have anything to do with it. You will know them by their fruits.
