If you are there just for her graduation and on leave you are not authorized to wear the ACU’s. If you are stationed there and it is a normal duty day for you then you are. If you wish to wear a uniform to her graduation it is better to wear the Class A or B. I would suggest the B due to the time of year and temperature. If you are an IET soldier you have to ask you drill sergeant which one to wear. Remember the regulation only allows the wear of the Duty uniform while on duty not for special occasions or events unless other wise permitted by you command if you have any more questions ask you Squad leader or platoon sergeant and look in AR 670-1

At Fort Leonard Wood, the graduates were in Class A for both Family Day and the dinner when I was there. I cant speak for the other BCT posts. The parents/guests I saw that were military usually wore Class A or B or just wore a suit if they didnt want any attention. Occassionally you would even see some dress blues, but not often. Its usually best not to out dress the person being honored.

I'd do Class A's for both. I think it would be a nice touch. But ultimately, i think you could wear ACU's for the family day.
