You need to deal with it. I had the same harassment when I was in because I was overweight. There is no way you can keep your GI bill without completing your contract.
How are they attempting to ruin your life?
What is your MOS?
You are the only person who can say if you are unworthy of being in the military. Get some balls and some self confidence and they will leave you alone.

Suck it up!!!
You joined for the wrong reason. Your job is to defend your country not go to college. In peace time that's a wonderful benefit of the military but still not the reason you join.
Sorry to preach but thats the bed you made, so to say. You'll have to finish your initial enlistment and I believe it has to be for at least 3 years. Once you've been honorably discharged you be able to enjoy the full benefit of your GI bill.
You could actually use it while your active duty as long as you have fulfilled the minimum time requirements.
Remember you serve your country not those assholes that mess with you.
Take care and God bless you for serving...even though you may not enjoy it now.

Man up, Matt!
If you are being bullied, you're letting it happen.
No one in the military is going to ruin your life because you want to go to college! Heck, hubby goes after the guys that are NOT taking classes! He even bought pizza for one of his shops where 100% of them were taking a class that term. It's something he throws out every term to his guys and it comes out of our pocket.
Be confident and secure in yourself... don't worry about the others. So what if you don't want to party, I'm sure there are plenty of other guys just like you. Like I tell my daughters, maybe you should find new friends! And just because they're your coworkers doesn't mean they have to be your friends.
Finally, perhaps you have a chip on your shoulder? Lots of small guys do... it's pretty normal and it's very irritating! Or maybe they are intimidated by your drive?
Whatever the case.... be a man and do what you signed up to do!

You're unworthy to me too. Perhaps if you were to restate your goal to be the service of your country, some of us could understand why you're in the army and I for one as an army vet would salute you. But I would just as soon the VA money that might be spent on someone with your attitude to attend college go to our heroes who sacrificed limbs and their health instead. I'm going to remember this question every time I watch the news reports of our latest fallen comrades. Get the hell outta here.

What does having no father mean to the military, nothing. You signed up not him.
You need to fullfill your contact. Did you think that they would just hand over something for free, not the military. If you want the GI Bill you need to do what they ask. You want something, they want something.
Then you can leave the army because we really don't need people like you in it. Go back home to mommy.

You need an honorable discharge. Complete your contract unless you have some medical condition that you can take up to a military hospital that makes you disabled. Sorry, you can't just leave. Many people in the military get treated like crap, especially from superiors.

Cry us a freaking river. Nobody twisted your arm to join and now that you can't hack it you want to run? From what I see some wussy Liberal Arts college is exactly where you should be and you can damn well attend it too, right after you do you time or you can just kiss that GI bill goodbye Smurf.

Nothing personal, but I detect a whiff of BS in your narative. I've never seen someone picked on for their size, but I have seen guys picked on for being a peen, and you acknowledge that you care more about working on college than being part of a team, so the attitude problem is probably yours and not theirs. Maybe you should get out and find another way to pay for college, since you obviously don't care about serving anyone but yourself.

I guess one has to look at the "facts" before answering the question. Are you a republican? Do you support the war, just not being "in" the war? or were you lied to about the military? If you're just scared, that's normal. But if you voted for, or support this administration and their policies, then buck it up and do your duty. If not, then look up veterans for peace. good luck, and good conscious.

Suck it up soldier!
You signed a contract. Fulfill the contract and enjoy the benefits. But don't come crying to me that all you wanted was benefits without doing any work.
If you are being harassed, take it up your chain of command. But be real sure you have the facts right.
BTW...why don't you start your college studies now?
