Yes. Nutritious food doesn't make you fat. FAT makes you fat. You may eat tons of veggies and fruit. Specifically veggies that are dark in color.
Avoid ALL foods with over 25% total fat content. Here is a math formula for you. Take the number of fat grams total that it states on the package...make sure to add up ALL the fat that is mentioned...saturated and unsaturated. Then multiply that number by nine and divide your result number by the calories. So, if you have a bag of cookies and it says 5.5 grams of fat per serving and each serving has 120 calories...do the math...5.5 times 9 = 49.5 divided by 120 is .4125 or 41% FAT. Don't go by the fat percentage shown on the label itself, it's rarely accurate.

Yes but there are some foods that you need to eat to be thin like fruits and vegetables. See site below about why eating less than you want makes you sick, fat and depressed.

No. A calorie is a calorie is a calorie. If you get it from a carrot or from a steak, its still a calories. Eating 50 pounds of carrots a day will make you gain weight, as will eating alot of anything.

yes, because some foods you don't want to eat a lot of. the way is eat only things that come directly from plants or trees: fresh apples, broccoli, potato, eggplant, rice, beans, nuts, lettuce etc.
do not eat: butter, hamburgers, burritos, ice cream, cookies, tortillas, bread, salad dressing etc. because those things don't grow on trees or plants.
