If I have blood clots and use a vasodialator, would this cause my blood vessels to dialate and by so doing dislodge a blood clot in the vessels?

Vasodilators are medications that open (dilate) blood vessels. They work directly on the muscles in the walls of your arteries, preventing the muscles from tightening and the walls from narrowing. As a result, blood flows more easily through your arteries, your heart doesn't have to pump as hard and blood pressure is reduced.

Vasodialators - Cause the muscle in the wall of the blood vessels to relax, allowing the vessel to dilate (widen). If you have a blood clot you would not want it to sit around - you would want to be able to pass through.
