God knows what each and every person is thinking so is it really necessary to say prayers (by an individual) out loud?

Nope.
But sometimes I need to hear MYSELF saying what I need to say to God. Sometimes it changes what I pray for and what I'm saying to Him. That may be more important than the answer He gives me...

Actually, most people don't know this, but if you look closely at incidents involving prayer in the most ancient Jewish texts, they can easily be interpreted as indicating that for a prayer to be "heard" by Jehovah, it actually needed to be said out loud. In fact, it may have originally not even been good enough to just say it, you might have needed to sort of "chant" it. You can see examples of this when ultra-orthodox Jews are praying at the "Wailing Wall" in Jerusalem.

Your mother and father after a few years of study got you down...They know first hand what choices you would make but the joy of it is you come and talk to them about it. That is respect and love. Matthew 6:6-8. Most heathens pray out loud to be heard of men. God knows what you have need of even before you ask... we should still ask.

The most powerful form of prayer is to become a "receiver" rather than a "sender." And that is the groundwork for revelation.

It says "Pray without ceasing" and "ask anything in MY NAME" so while God knows our hearts He wants US to acknowledge Him and speak our needs to Him. Otherwise it would be like taking Him for granted. No need to pray out loud though.

God will always listen to you.....even if you do not speak.....whatever is in your heart you can pray silently to yourself and God will always listen to you no matter what! He knows whats in you heart and if you sincerely mean it then you dont have to "SPEAK"!
