I have tried just about every shampoo and conditioner out there and it seems all shampoos have either protein of alcohol in them which seems to make them worst.

If I am reading correctly....your water supply is contaminated with iron....

This is a huge problem that needs to be addressed as if its destroying your hair, it is also destroying your skin and internal organs....

While fixing the water isn't going to help your wedding I can offer a few quick fixes....

JOICO clarifying shampoo ....RESOLVE AND ITS CONDITIONER PHINE....

KSM CLARIFYING SHAMPOO AND TREATMENT....

A strong professional product to remove build up of chemicals, hair products, etc......Use it daily for a week or up to the wedding and it should get better and better....

This a common problem, especially with blondes and chlorine....their thin hair gets so damage by clorine or other impurities it can dull even the most expensive scissors.....

A wedding, congrats.....Right now I would definately get some clarifying products and maybe some conditoning products, Kpack shampoo and conditioner.....also Joico...You should be able to find these either at the walmart salon or local salons.....

I know its not ideal but try to wash your hair at a friends house until the water itself can be resolved....Any water that is contaminated can ruin your hair eventually will contaminate your skin and body....

I wish you the best of luck.....

I don't know what shampoo or conditioners you may have tried, but, for hard water and blow dryers and curling iron damage. Joico products are made up of what your own hair is made of. the main ingredient in their products including all of the styling products is human hair protein rebuilding the hair strands from the inside out. The shampoo that I think may help you is Daily Treatment Shampoo (formally biojoba) also contains inositol, jojoba oil , and biotin. And the newer K-pak styling line protects the hair from thermal styling and is also humidity resistant, and K-pak is a deep reconstuctor. They are on the high end price. But, for repairing dry brittle breaking hair. It's the best.

Here's what you do. You need to use a good clarifying shampoo ( ex. Redken clarifying) this will help to strip all of the iron out of your hair. Then, use only a moisture base shampoo and conditioner - they are out there. www.redken.com REdken All Soft. Use the heavy conditioning treatment from mid hair down. Hope this helps

In the long term, you need to get a water softener of make sure your works if you have one

Since the problem is your water, how about trying a shower head w/ a built in water filter? The filter will remove the minerals, etc. while you shower & shampoo.

Here's a link to Y! Search Results so you can see the kind of product I'm suggesting: http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&fr=moz2&p=shower+water+filter&rs=1&fr2=rs-top

Here are 2 kinds bedbathandbeyond.com carries: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=108788&RN=670

You can call your local brick & mortar BBB & see if it has them in stock. Get on the mailing list for coupons too.

Once you've got the water thing taken care of, use Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo to get rid of any build up on your hair. Joico K-Pak shampoo & conditioner are the best for damaged hair.

Massage your scalp w/ a tiny bit of jojoba oil 2-3 times a week to improve circulation and condition your hair/scalp. Some women swear by pre-natal vitamins for healthier hair & nails.

Good luck!
