What's Cooking?

It's been too hot to cook. I stopped for Italian takeout. Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti, a salad and some of the restaurant's delicious rolls made on the premises. Not as good as mine (except for the rolls), but a lot better than heating up the kitchen. We went out later, after dark, for Italian ices for dessert.

Whole wheat spaghetti, with marinara sauce and meatballs for the kids, and a tomato garlic topping with blasamic vinegar and olive oil for the hubster and me. Also some garlic bread with cheese.

For dessert..... a little vanilla ice cream with some fresh fruit on top.

Tonight is beef night!

Grilled Lemon pepper petite filets--medium rare
Lightly grilled asparagus with Sauce Bearnaise
Twice baked potatoes with sour cream, asiago cheese and chives
Chocolate mousse with toasted almonds

well, i made some pasta (i think its called gemelli, some twisty noodle) and a simple garlic cream sauce. i'm gonna start making brownies soon (just packaged ones, where u get the mix). i'm 12, so my cooking choices r limited.

I just finished making breaded chicken wings and put them in the oven. Next I plan to make mashed potatoes/gravy, and corn, maybe green beans.

Nothing at the moment, but for dinner it will be meatloaf w/ onion flavors, and potatoes baked in tomato sauce and brocolli

Nothing tonight, it is the night that we watch tv the most, so pizza for us. Plus it gives me a break.
