Visa process marrying Moroccan?

Question

Any Americans here who've married a Moroccan?
I am in the process of doing all the paperwork NOW and do all the documents need to be translated to English for the US Consulate? Most of my fiancees documents are in French HELP!

YES, they all have to be translated. You can find somebody to do it in the Yellow Pages or call a local university and speak to somebody in the French Dept. they can do it to. Or find somebody that speaks French well enough (ehm ehm -cough-- ME) and they can translate it and notarize it.

EDIT: If you do this in Morocco contact and English teacher. I am related to one. Where will you be? Don't know about the notarization process there though.

I am marrying a Moroccan in December and have already completed the initial paperwork for the spousal visa (K-3). It is the exact same paperwork for the K-1 and the K-3. All of the documents must be translated into English. Make sure to also have the original documents as they may also be required.

Fez it right, you absolutely MUST have everything translated. My husband's passport is in French and even though it's easy to figure out what it says, even that had to be translated. I just went through all of that actually and just got my I-797, Notice of Action in the mail. It was approved, so on we go to the next round! Best wishes, and STAY PATIENT!
