don't you think that instead of appeasement ...witch leads to more kidnapping the governments should just take the lists of people being asked for release in exchange and shoot 1 per hour till the hostages are released and kill 6 prisioners for each hostage killed?

Wouldn't work. You are dealing with people who have no concern about life. Think about it. Could you strap on a bomb and walk into a school, church, or hospital and blow yourself up along with women and children? I think not. They could. Therefore they could care less whether you killed someone or they kill hostages. The only way to fix the problem is kill the terrorists. With malice.

I dont think so, look at what goes on in Brazil, they even target the Mothers of Football players, its a growth business.
