want a full sleeve ? nice . well i don't think there is a meaning concerning where you choose to put your tattoo. i'd say wherever your tattoo feels home on your body... cheers and good luck . EDIT : stevie is right !! go for both !! oh and btw i'm getting mine on my right arm :) ) EDIT 2 : well in june i'm scheduled with my TA to start my 3/4 sleeve, sleeve that will be on my right arm !! :) how many sittings ?? depends on the artist, amount of detail, color, the design itself and the time spent.. let's say one or 2 sittings for all the outlines then maybe another 2-5 for the filling, shading and detail...

It depends on whether you are right-handed or left-handed, althoguh you don't HAVE to have it on the usually correct way. It's like a watch. You can put it wherever it's more comfortable.

If you've had it done already, it's a bit late to change your mind... For choice, neither -- it will look dead stupid when you are 70 and trying to justify such self-mutilation to your grandchildren...
