First of all, I am sorry that you are suffering from this illness.
Yes, it is wrong of you to be angry, however, in your condition, it is somewhat normal.
I have a daughter who suffered from this disorder for 4 plus years. It tore my family apart, she first started at the age of 15. This not only effects you, this severely impacts the people who are around you.
People are trying to get you to stop because they love and care about you. My daughter flatlined at the hospital twice, my younger daughter found her also seizuring a couple of times because of her low potassium in her body.
You need to get help, without help, you may end up killing yourself.
It may seem cool to be pretty thin and so on, however, Bulimia is an eating disorder which is a disease, you are controlling your disease and some point even when you want to stop, it will be the hardest thing to do because your body is so used to it.
I know myself, I suffered and battle with this disease everyday. When I get stressed out I have to stop myself. I am 37 now.
This disease is not a glorious disease to suffer from. My daughters teeth have literally broken off. You will start losing the enamel on your teeth and they are going to become brittle and crack.
Do yourself a favor, save your life and get help because the disease takes you over completely.
I have to honestly say, my daughter is who opened my eyes, I kept my secret for years, she save my life to get help. I was never as bad as she was, however, I still suffer from it. You are an addict.
Wishing you the best, and remember, you may be angry but these people love you.

of course its wrong for you to be angry. You don't see what they see. When a person say bulimic, i think of being extremely skinny, and death. So when ppl tell you that your hurting yourself, well for you to get mad is totally WRONG, because your hurting others, with a disorder that can leave you in a grave. I understand that you are experiencing "pressured feelings" of the mind, which is why your in this "bulimic situation". Your telling yourself to throw-up throw-up. It's an evil spirit. So what you need to do is try, TRY and embrace other ppls thoughts and re-collect your own. I know it's hard, but you can't let this consume you. You are not weak, you have the power and authority to overcome this depression that's hurting you and others around you. You need to take charge and show your body, and your brain, that your heart has control.....glad i could help!

Hi,
It is normal to get angry at people that try to 'interfere' with your business. I was bulimic for 5 years, and i reacted in exactly the same way, because i didn't want to stop, and i thought people that tried to interfere didn't understand me and what i was going through. I didn't want the control i gained through bulimia to be taken away. So i lashed out in anger. In the end I learned there are far better ways to gain control in your life and weight that don't damage your health. When you finally WANT to overcome your illness, you will find it easier to accept help, and the burden will be eased from you.
If you need someone to chat to about this please add me on MSN messenger. :-)

You get angry because it is a big issue for you and deep down you know its not right. bulemia is an illness and without treatment eventually causes really ill health and death. One of my best friends suffers badly and has lots of other serious problems like sever self harm. Perhapse the people who you are angry with are trying to get you to stop and not trying to understand you and love you. You need help and support not condeming. But you do also need to realise that they care which is why they are trying to get you to stop. Ultimitly if you want to live and enjoy your life you do need to stop- but that can only be done by getting to the bottom of why you are doing it!

Yes it is wrong because you are permanently damaging your espophogus and your teeth enamal and could wind up dead. People are trying to get you to stop because they care about you and want to see your stay alive not die. If you want to stay alive without permanent body damage you need to get help for your problem. If don't stop the body damage can be premanent and it could kill you. I truely find it hard to believe that you want to kill yourself but this is in fact exactly what you are doing.

If you had malaria, would you be upset if people tried to help you get better?
Bulimia is just another disease, and it can be overcome. But the person who has to work the hardest to do that is you. I'm no doctor, so I don't know the reasons for bulimia, or the treatments. But your own doctor does. Call him or her, please.

no you shouldn't, they want you to stop because they care. do you know how bulimia effects your body? maybe you should read some human physiology books and see how it can destroy you mentally and physically.
