Stop putting A&D ointment on it, that is used just for the first couple of days. And yeah if you put too much on it, you are suffocating it, and dont cover it with anything either, for the same reason. This is what you do, use a plain lotion, non scented, no aloe vera or vitamin E, just plain. Put a thin layer on it to keep it moist durring the healing process. This will speed up the healing process time, and make your tattoo look much better.
Also only put the lotion on it after the original layer has dried out enough. You'll know when to because it will feel like dried glue on your arm, dont let it get flaky, but dont put too much on, especially constantly, this will slow down the healing time and just make it look like crap in the end. Compared to a tattoo that was cared for properly.

Just put on a thin layer - too much will make the ink come out. If you see ink running down your arm dab at the tattoo with a paper towel and next time try a bit less A&D. I'd use the A&D or Neosproin for at least a week - very thin layer.
If after a day your tattoo still doesn't look right go to your artist and ask him/her what is wrong.

I have some white on a tattoo. It has faded some but not that bad, but with your tattoo it might be more noticeable since it will have more white than mine. But, I think with the tattoo you want you should use the white, because I have another tattoo that I should have put white in it and I probably eventually will because I think it will look better than the natural color of my skin. Hope that helps!

too much A&D will make the ink come out. just put a very thin layer on, just to keep it moist for the first day or two and then start using lubriderm (thin layer for that too)

if it makes it look weird stop using it...
Try:
Aqua 4
Cherry Balm
Vaseline
You need something with no color and no scent and you need just enough to keep the Tat soft.
