The number is an 866 number and shows up on my caller ID as unavailable and when I try to call it back it is either busy or it just rings until it disconnects. It is really annoying. I have no idea who to contact to make the calls stop I get them as many as 5 times a day every day even on the weekends. Any help to figure out how to verify who the caller is would be greatly appreciated.

866 is a toll free line. If they bug ya day and night, and weekends, it's either a telemarketer, or a bill collector. Do you have any past due bills in collection? It could be them. If not, it HAS to be a telemarketer. The aggrivating cherry on the cake is, it may not even be a person, but a MACHINE that is calling you, to find out when you will answer. If a representative is available, it will give the call to them. If not, it will just hang up! *MOST* IRRITATING!!! :(

Type it in your search area, or go to smartpages.com and look up person or business by phone number. You might try 800-555-1212 and see if they have the info, as well.
