Anyone have any ideas for what I can make for dinner tonight, using only the ingredients I have on hand at home?
My family has been away, so I've mostly been eating single-serving sized food, like hot dogs and stuff
Though, I'm getting sick of that, and want to cook something. But, for reasons, I don't really want to get into, I can't go grocery shopping now, therefore whatever I make can only be with whatever I already have at home.
The ingredients on hand are:
1 lb of ground turkey (the kind that comes frozen in round tubes)
Salt, pepper, and other spices
1 dozen eggs
1 can of mushroom gravy
potatoes
green beans
a small amount of Cheddar cheese
cucumbers
tomatoes
lettuce
canned cream of mushroom soup
some leftover Ragu tomato sauce
milk
margarine
condiments - ketchup, mustard, mayo, salad dressings, etc.
Anyone have any ideas what I could make for dinner?

Does anyone have any recipe for turkey meatloaf, with the ingredients I have already?
Because all the ones I have read online so far all include stuff I don't have at home.

Thanks guys for all your suggestions, and wonderful ideas.
I LOVE to cook, and do have experience with it, but since I am alone as my family has been away, I have been eating mostly single-serving foods (like hot dogs and hamburger helper singles)
But I was getting sick of it, and I wanted to find something beyond what I usually make with ground turkey - like turkey tacos, turkey burgers, and the like.
Anyway thank you for all your great ideas!
Thanks to your suggestions, I found a fast and easy-to-make recipe for a turkey meatloaf, from a link that you guys provided, using the ground turkey, eggs, milk, and some Traditional Sage flavored Stove-Top stuffing that I found in the back of my cupboard.
It smells and tastes DELICIOUS (I sneak-cut a couple slices out of it!)
I'm baking some potatoes, and making the fresh green beans ino a casserole with mushroom soup.
I'm also going to have a tossed salad with lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes.
Thanks!

Also just to clarify when I say I was getting sick of hot dogs and single serving foods, I do NOT mean that they were making me sick.
I just mean that I was getting bored of having them everyday. Not that it made me sick - Just that I was sick of eating the same thing.
But the turkey meatloaf is ABSOLUTELY YUMMY! I'm just waiting for the baked potatoes, and the green bean casserole to get done, while I make the tossed salad.
Then I'll eat dinner while I veg out in front of the TV.

How about a shepherds pie, substituting your turkey for the ground beef. You will probably want to season the meat up a bit more.
Here is a link to several shepherd's pies...

Make a cucumber, tomato and lettuce salad on the side.

You can make turkey meatloaf with the same ingredients and the same way your family likes it made and served. The only difference is you are substituting the ground turkey meat. [this might be a good idea for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner. The turkey has to thaw - either in the refrigerator or - if you have and know how to use the microwave - in the microwave.]
Shepherd’s pie is sort of like chili - same texture and consistency. It has the turkey, some tomato sauce and the mashed potatoes on top [you have to follow the directions on the box to make these]. After making the potatoes, you can brown the potatoes in the oven or toaster oven.
How about a salad and then a cheese omelet made with two or three eggs?
Breakfast tomorrow: scrambled eggs OR eggs the way you like them - if you know how to make eggs - up or over.
I’m sorry, I don’t know what kind of pots, pans and utensils you have to work with OR how young you are or your level of cooking ability.
Lunch tomorrow: Mushroom soup with a couple baked potatoes - cooked in the microwave or baked in the oven - served with some margarine and mixed together with salt and pepper to your taste.
You could wash and boil some of the potatoes and serve the mushroom gravy over them.
How about “borrowing” a loaf of bread or some of the other things you like from a neighbor OR e-mail and/or calling friend[s] or relative[s] and asking for suggestions from him/her/them? Who knows, you might just get invited to stay with them until your family gets back?
Thank you for asking your question. I enjoyed taking the time to answer your question. You did a great job - not only for your information, but for every other person interested in reading my answer.
I wish you well!
VTY,
Ron B.

Depends on how hungry/how many you are feeding. I'd suggest some deviled eggs, a simple salad of lettuce cucumbers and tomatoes with an oil and vinegar dressing, then a simple shepherd's pie.....brown the burger(turkey), add drained green beans, combine mushroom gravy with the mushroom soup and enough liquid to make it like a medium gravy (in consistency), make a pot of mashed potatoes. Place turkey and beans in a casserole dish, pour gravy mixture over it, top with an inch to 2 inches of mashed potatoes, bake at 350 for 45 minutes, 15 minutes before it is finished sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, return and finish baking.

The good thing with meatloaf is you can put anything you want in it…
But why don’t you try making a turkey sheapards pie?????
Lb mince
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
Add your green beans
Salt and pepper
Mix ingredients up and add mashed potato over the top of the mince and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Mashed potato
4 large potatoes
1 egg (beaten)
1 teaspoon of mustard
Salt and pepper
1/3 cup of milk
2 teaspoons of margarine

A yummy sandwich came to my mind! But, you don't mention bread, so......
So, here’s what you could prepare for dinner that I’m sure will be different from what you’ve cooked before.
Stir one egg in a bowl with a little salt and some other spice you choose.
In that bowl put the turkey and leave it until it gets completely soaked or mixed with the stir egg
Meanwhile, put in your stove a frying pan to melt butter
When the butter (margarine for instance) is boiling, put the turkey in the frying pan to fry it.
Your green beans can be aside of your plate with your buttered-egg-turkey, that would be a little like an omelette or spanish tortilla, but it is delicious.
Another recipe could be.
Boil your potatoes, peel them, cut them in rounded slices.
When they’re done, in your stove or microwave, melt your cheddar cheese mixed with milk or margarine to make it more like a gravy rather than melt cheese.
So, serve your potatoes with your cheddar gravy, and you can use some turkey bits on top of them.
And that's all for now....I'm starting to sound like my mother!!!!!!!

Well you could make turkey burgers, using s/p, with sliced pototes fried, maybe with cheese on them. A nice salad with the lettuce and tomatoes.
I'm fixing red beans and rice with italian sausage and bread and butter.
