Rather depends what the trousers are doesn't it? If they are part of a suit then they are lined and can be worn the same as men wear suits - most I know wear them for absolutely ages - but I'd go for a week!
Cotton trousers in hot weather - one day - they're not lined and they would pick up dirt & sweat in the same way t-shirts & blouses do.
In between that are loads of other materials with different properties that could be worn between 1 day & a week!!!

First part, my answer: as long as they don't have an odor or are soiled looking, she can wear them a few times. Some fabrics air out well or using a clothes steamer might refresh them. Eventually though, they need to go to the cleaners.
My commentary:
What if this woman you might be referring to has several pairs of the same style/color trousers?
If I like a trouser in a neutral like black or charcoal, I would buy two or three pairs so that they won't wear out so quickly.
It might seem like she is wearing the same pants all of the time but she may actually own a few pairs.
Now if she is like one of my algebra high school teachers, he wore the same brown polyester pants all school year, then that's different. We (the other students) knew he did because one guy told me that when he wasn't looking one day he made a mark on the pants and the next day the mark was there. It was comical but now being older I'm thinking, maybe those pants were just really comfortable and they didn't seem to wear out..they didn't look raggedy at the end of the school year....LOL..

Depending on the office. In MOST places, if you are talking normal office type pants or suit pants, I'd say two days in a row, OR three days a week with a day in between. The exception is if they get grubby or marked in some way, in which case they must be washed.
However, in a real high end corporate place, once a week. They like to see their staff in something different every day, and believe me, they look for it.
Cheers :-)

I generally wear once and then wash, as I wear mostly trousers unless it's baking hot; in the winter in very cold weather, when you don't perspire so much, you might get away with two days.
Personally, I hate the feel of already worn trousers, even if I have freshened them with a quick steam iron.

My suggestion is to wear trousers one day, rest them for a day or two while they air out and wear them on the third day. No clothing that is next to your skin should get continuous wearing without washing. You don't want someone to let you know that you are smelling so fresh.
