I have a male beagle, six years old.
I noticed a few fairly large bumps on the top of his head.
The skin underneath the hair on the largest bump is bright red.
What could this be?

It could be a sebaceous gland cyst or an ingrown hair. I would suggest you take him into the vet and let them have a look at his head.

Usually bright red means there is an infection or an inflammation of some type, so you really should have it looked at.

I hope that helps!

It could be a cyst get him looked at it may not be serious but for a piece of mind I'd just let a vet look at it.
