a day? no. even in one sitting it won't hurt you. But what you can do is split up your session. Just do 2 sets of 75 or better yet 3x50. You can even do some other ab exercises: reverse crunch, legs lifts, back lifts, knee lifts, 10 second crunch, jui jitsu situp, ankle wiggles, plank, side plank, superman, twisters, leg scissors, infinities, chinnies, hanging knee raise, hanging L-sit, and Janda situps.

just keep up your workout and it will get easier and you will be able to do more.

If it's giving you cramps at 75 I don't think you should push yourself much further as you could do yourself an injury. Try to work up to 100 for example do 75 one day then 76 the next & so on.

Why would you want to do 100 sit-ups a day?

If your looking to help flatten your belly or get a nice 6 pack, sit-ups won't cut it.

Instead of spending all this time doing sit-ups (and getting cramps) do the bicycle (or as it sometimes called the lying down bicycle). Your results will be sooooo much faster and you only need to do about 1/3 of the amount as compared to sit-ups. You can then add in push aways and v-ups and in half the time you'll get results 5 times faster with less work.

usually i start getting cramps at like 30 when i do them when i workout but i dont think its bad i mean really you are supposed to feel burning that means you are burning calories and you will sometimes get cramps from doing it but if you arent getting cramps and arent feeling a burn that means you're not doing enough
it could be the speed you go i learned when i did it fast the cramps cam earlier and hurt worse maybe you should see if going slower but not to slow works but if the cramps keep getting worse and are causing more problems like having backaches and stuff you should ask a doctor what you are doing wrong or to see if you can fix the problem
but you should try crunches when i do them i do about 300 every morning and night and i dont get cramps until about near 100

No cuz it gives a guy a 6-pack. jk

It can be if it exceeds the limit to what your body can take. I would stop around 70 or 65. You don't want to push your body. Maybe during the week on the first day you can do 50. Second 60, Third day 70, etc. But it's all up to you.

Only do sit-ups an hour after you eat. If you do any exercise less than hour after eating, your body will burn the food you have just eaten instead of stored fat.

If you do sit ups less than an hour after, you're working directly your stomach, so it burns your food and can't get to the stored fat. Other than that, 100 sit ups a day seems pretty OK

then stop at 75 til you don't have the cramps and slowly add more til you get to 100 without cramps. they're not bad for you, but you shouldn't overdo.

Then you gotta do as many as you can do and gradually build up to 100. Or whatever you eventually wanna do.
And wow...75. Workin on a sexy six pack?? ;)

I do about that many crunches at night cause I can't handle sit-ups :)
