You've had lice for 7 years?!?!? poor thing! I used to have blonde medium hair when i was little and had lice. nothing would work...except...mayonnoise. That's right...my mom put it in my hair and kinda massaged it in. It slides the lice eggs right out. dont use water. stand in the shower away from the water and get your hair all mayonnaise and even take a brush with you and brush it in and massage it for a while.

OK. I work for a pest control company. Here's what you should you do:
1. Call your doctor and and ask for a prescription shampoo called KWELL. Wash your hair and your families hair according to directions. DO NOT OVERUSE THIS PRODUCT.
2. Use a fine comb to remove the nits (eggs).
3. Lice have a 7-10 day life cycle so wash your hair with the shampoo again in 7-10 days.
4. Wash clothing, hats, bedding, and other personal items and dry in dryer for at least 20-30 minutes.
5. Soak your brushes, combs and hair accessories in 130 degree+ water for 5-10 minutes.
6. Upholstery should be vacuumed thoroughly. Throw vacuum cleaner bag away, away from the house. Or if using a bagless suck up some talcum powder while vacuuming.
7. Call a pest control specialist to spray your furniture with a pyrethrum.
FYI: Lice can only live up to 24 hours after being removed from their host.
Hope this helps!

Comb your hair with a lice comb and find a shampoo with Zinc in it. Try Head & Shoulders the original or get a specially formulated lice shampoo. Is this even a serious question? Lice for 7 years? Oh well, good luck to you, I guess..

Once my head suddenly had lice and I was sooooo irratated...I applied olive oil (not the cooking one) onto my hair and I kept it one for 18 hours and then I washed it off. Then I used a thin comb and luckily the lice came out. I have medium brown hair and it worked for me… I hope this helps and soon the lice die and come out…. And use a shampoo with zinc like head and shoulders / use a especially formulated lice shampoo. Good luck and Goodbye...

Besids the lice-killing shampoos and lice combs -- do you use a blowdryer? I understand that using a blowdryer regularly helps to keep lice away. So, don't just air dry your hair.
You also need to keep your sheets and pillowcases washed in hot water, maybe daily until the lice are gone. You may just be re-infecting yourself. Good luck!

Ok the mayo thing works but I heard let it sit on your head with a shower cap over it for a couple hours and it will suffocate them. But I also heard that you can color your hair and the ammonia in the hair dye kills the eggs and bugs. Also before you treat your head you need to lice bomb your entire house and wash all fabrics things like stuffed animals sheets and blankets and shampoo and vacuum couches and bed. good luck.

I am professional nitpicker in NJ.
Here is what I would strongly recommend:
Buy a good finetooth metal comb (licender/ licemeister/terminator)
Buy a good thick conditioner (pantene)
Smother hair with conditioner and have someone comb thru ur hair taking thin sections of hair at a time
Repeat every day for 3-4 days
Remember a thorough comb out takes at least 2 hours
Also check all family members and do a quick comb out to be 110% sure
Wash all combs and other hair accessories regularly
Also change bed sheets and pillow covers for the next 3 days
Watch the comb out video at www.headlice.org to learn how to do an effective comb out
If you follow all these instructions dilligently, I promise you will get rid of headlice in 3-4 days
Once you get rid of them, pl avoid head to head contact and also sharing of combs and other hair stuff with others who may have them (friends and other family members)
If all fails, please seek help from a professional nitpicker. You can find a listing for one in your area at www.licesolutions.org
Good luck!

ew uhm lol
go to a doctor..
they have special shampoo
and dont wash your hair a lot on a normal day basis
because lice like clean hair. try washing you hair only
once a week or something. unless ur hair gets oily quickly
becausse they won't like dirty hair.
