I really love him and i cant be just friends with him because its not fair to me and it hurts too much so i quit texting/calling im trying to get over him. i feel like there's is a block between us.

YES, well I dont know. I have a similar situation where me and this guy love each other but we're not going out. We used to date but now we're not. We spent some time apart and now we're back to being just really really good friends. But I know what you mean. I told him I had to get over him so he had to leave me alone, but I loved him too much so we're just good friends.
But get over him if you feel like you need to, it'll be hard but you can do it. And tell him you need to get over him...

Sure he can. He cares about you like a sister, while you think of him as a love interest. What you're doing is the wisest thing to do. If you didn't tell him your true feelings, this would be a good time. You never know, maybe he feels the same but was afraid to say.

misspretty,Yes a guy can do all those things but maybe he doesn"t know what you are feeling ! Try some upfront honesty.
